14 bred heifers(3/4-7/8+ Pharo genetics), 8 are red and 6 are black. $1,800.00 per head. They are bred to an easy calving, low birth weight(CED is 15) registered black Angus bull(Payday))from Pharo Cattle Company . He is on site and we can send you his EPD's. All heifers were pelvic checked at time of ultra sound and are estimated to weigh 800-900 lbs +/-. All were bred naturally and came into heat on their own. They are medium framed, easy fleshing, low maintenance heifers, grass fat from fescue and mixed pasture, no grain. You won't have worry about them falling apart on you due to being grain fed. They are hot wire broke,(1 or 2 strand hot wire) will follow range cubes, easy to move, and accustomed to rotational grazing. They have had all required shots- Lepto/Vibrio, IBR, BVD, etc. The heifers were dewormed and ultra sounded in mid October and are due to start calving mid March. We have and will provide to you the number of days pregnant on ultra sound date. Most will calve within 30 days of each other.
